(Maximum Sports Channels – Phil Naessens) Last night was a rough one. Boogie Cousins went off and so did just about every other player I didn’t tout yesterday. Sometimes that stuff happens in the NBA. We have eight games tonight on the main FanDuel NBA slate. Eight games to make up for yesterday. I need to remind you this column is written in the morning. Things change quickly in the NBA so you need to be certain whoever you have selected is actually playing that night.

Games Spread Over Under Totals
Charlotte @ Orlando Charlotte -3.5 206
Indiana @ Boston Boston -8.5 209
Detroit @ Chicago Pick 202
Philadelphia @ Oklahoma City Oklahoma City -10.5 219
Atlanta @ Washington Washington -7 212.5
Cleveland @ Denver Cleveland -3 230
Milwaukee @ Sacramento Milwaukee -4.5 205.5
New York @ Utah Utah -10 201.5

Point Guards

You can pay up for Russell Westbrook ($13,000) if you want to and I just might wind up doing so but I think someone with a better matchup in what might be a closer game is Washington Wizards point guard John Wall ($10,000) against a Atlanta Hawks defense allowing point guards to average 50 FanDuel points a game this season and 54.7 over the past five games. In 37 home games this season Wall is averaging 46.37 FanDuel points per game, a past five game FanDuel floor of 33.8 points and a ceiling of 46.7 points. During the month of March Wall has a Usage Rate of 29.7 percent and a True Shooting percentage of 54 percent.

Value plays tonight under $6000 bucks include Jameer Nelson ($5200) and Reggie Jackson ($5000).

Shooting Guards

Charlotte Hornets shooting guard Nicolas Batum ($7000) has a great matchup against a Orlando Magic defense allowing 41 FanDuel points per game this season and 46.2 points per game over their past five games. In 31 road games this season Batum is averaging 31.14 FanDuel points per game and over his past five games Batum has a FanDuel floor of 24.5 points and a ceiling of 40.2 points. During the month of March Batum has a Usage Rate of 25 percent and a 53 percent True Shooting percentage.

Value plays tonight under $6000 bucks include Tim Hardaway Jr. ($5400) and Courtney Lee ($4600).

Small Forwards

Chicago Bulls small forward Jimmy Butler ($8900) has a good opportunity tonight against a Detroit Pistons defense allowing small forwards to average 40.4 FanDuel points per game this season and over the past five games are allowing 49.9 points per game. In 35 home games this season Butler is averaging 42.04 FanDuel points per game and over his past five has a FanDuel floor of 26.9 points and a ceiling of 64 points. During the month of March Butler has a 25.2 percent Usage Rate and a True Shooting percentage of 56 percent.

Value plays tonight under $6000 bucks include Terrence Ross ($3900) and Thabo Sefalosha ($3800).

Power Forwards

Denver Nuggets power forward Nikola Jokic ($10,300) has a good opportunity tonight against a Cleveland Cavaliers defense allowing power forwards a season average 43.1 FanDuel points per game and 50.3 points over their last five. In 33 home games this season Jokic is averaging 37.1 FanDuel points per game with a past five game FanDuel floor of 27 points and a ceiling of 46.8 points. During the month of March Jokic has a Usage Rate of 26.6 percent and a 68 percent True Shooting percentage.

Value plays under $6000 bucks tonight include Ersan Ilyasova ($4500) and Enes Kanter ($5500).

Centers

Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert ($8800) has a great matchup tonight against a New York Knicks defense allowing centers to average 50.1 FanDuel points this season and 60.5 points per game over the past five. In 35 home games this season Gobert is averaging 33.59 FanDuel points per game and over the past five games Gobert has a FanDuel floor of 28.5 points and a ceiling of 50.2 points. Gobert has a 16.5 percent Usage Rate and a 68 percent True Shooting percentage in the month of March.

Value plays tonight under $6000 bucks include Mason Plumlee ($5900) and Steven Adams ($4900).

Good luck tonight at FanDuel!!
