Phils Fantasy Sports
(Maximum Sports Channels – Phil Naessens
) There are 13 NFL
Games on the main slate at FanDuel for week 13 of the FanDuel Fantasy Football
season. I don’t know about you but I would like to forget all about week 12.
New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees ($9300) had another big ballgame last Sunday throwing for 310 yards and four touchdowns and taking another one all by himself to the house for 32.5 FanDuel points. This week Brees is at home in the dome to take on a Detroit Lions defense allowing 250.9 passing yards and 20 touchdowns this season.
Saints WR Brandin Cooks ($6800) was involved in 61 percent of the snaps last Sunday but not a single ball was thrown his way. Meanwhile teammate Michael Thomas ($6900) caught nine of the ten targets sent his way for 108 yards and two touchdowns.
Kansas City Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill ($5800) had three touchdowns last Sunday; catching for one, running for another and returning a free kick after a safety for an 80 yard touchdown. This week Hill has a nice matchup with an Atlanta Falcons defense allowing a NFL worst 282.2 passing yards a game and 25 touchdowns this season.
Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson ($7700) had a rough week 12 throwing for just 151 yards and two interceptions while rushing for 80 yards. This week he has a great opportunity against a Carolina Panthers defense allowing 275.2 passing yards a game and 21 touchdowns this season.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans ($8500) is having an incredible season; 70 receptions and 1020 yards with ten touchdowns type of incredible season. This week the Bucs travel to play a San Diego Chargers defense allowing 273.1 passing yards a game and 16 touchdowns this season. The Chargers also have 16 interceptions this season so you might want to leave QB Jameis Winston ($7600) alone as he’s thrown 11 interceptions this season.
The Miami Dolphins defense allows 132.2 rushing yards a game. That is worthy of targeting for sure. The only problem with this is their opponent. The Baltimore Ravens are only averaging 87.8 rushing yards a game AND you have to decide who will get the lion share of the carries. Will it be RB Terrance West ($5900) or RB Kenneth Dixon ($5100)? I may give this entire game a pass on Sunday.
Buffalo Bills QB Tyrod Taylor ($7400) has been solid this season and on Sunday his Bills face an Oakland Raiders defense allowing 273.5 passing yards a game and 20 touchdowns this season. It also appears his favorite target WR Sammy Watkins ($6300) made it through last week unscathed and should see more than the 25 snap counts he received in week 12. Last week Watkins was three for three with 80 receiving yards. This could be a very affordable stack this Sunday.
Houston Texans QB Brock Osweiler ($6300) is having a tough season; last week he threw three interceptions at home against the Chargers. Osweiler isn’t much better on the road and this week he travels to face a Green Bay Packers defense that has allowed 1700 passing yards and 12 touchdowns this season at home. Should be an excellent matchup but I will have to pass on Osweiler this week.
I’ll have much more later in the week!
